The dress code is formal attire. Please keep in mind that our wedding colors are sage green and beige, so we kindly ask guests to choose outfits that complement — but don’t match — our color palette.
To help guide your choices:
Please avoid wearing:
Sage green, beige, or champagne tones, as these are reserved for the wedding party.
White, ivory, or cream, which are too close to the bride’s color.
Hot pink, fuchsia, purple, orange, lime green, or electric blue — these tones clash with our soft, romantic color scheme.
Very dark earthy greens or mustard yellows, which may clash with the overall palette.
Large bold prints or metallic sequins that draw focus in group photos.
Great options include:
For women: elegant dresses in muted pastels, dusty rose, soft blues, mauve, navy, or jewel tones.
For men: a classic dark suit (navy, charcoal, or black) with a coordinating tie — light neutrals like taupe or stone also work well.
We appreciate your thoughtfulness in helping create a cohesive and beautiful atmosphere for our day in Sorrento!

Most guests traveling from Canada will fly into Naples International Airport (NAP), the closest major airport to Sorrento. Most routes include a layover in Rome, London, or Frankfurt, depending on the airline.
Once in Naples, you can reach Sorrento by:
- Taxi: The most convenient and comfortable option, taking about 1–1.5 hours. Expect to pay around €120–€150 (≈ CAD 175–220) one way for 1–3 passengers.
- Train: Take the Circumvesuviana train from Napoli Centrale to Sorrento (around €5–€6 / CAD 8–10, about 1 hour).
Canadian citizens do not require a visa for short stays (up to 90 days) in Italy or any other Schengen country. However, starting in 2026 (date TBD), they will need to obtain an ETIAS travel authorization before entering Europe. Travelers should also ensure their passports are valid for at least six months beyond their intended travel dates.
If you’re traveling on a non-Canadian passport, please check Italy’s visa requirements for your nationality well in advance.
We’ve put together a list of recommended hotels on this page, based on their convenient location near the church and Sorrento’s town centre. The list includes a range of options to suit different budgets — from 5-star luxury stays to comfortable 4-star, 3-star hotels and bed & breakfast.
We recommend arriving in Sorrento 1–2 days before the wedding to rest, adjust to the time zone, and enjoy the beautiful coastal views before the festivities begin.
If time allows, consider extending your trip to explore the Amalfi Coast, Capri, and Pompeii — all easily accessible from Sorrento.
