Taxis will depart immediately following the ceremony. If you prefer to walk, it’s a lovely 15–20-minute stroll through the charming streets of Sorrento.

What time should I arrive at the church?

Please plan to arrive at Basilica Sant’Antonino by 2:30 PM — about 30 minutes before the ceremony begins at 3:00 PM.

This will give you time to find your seat, enjoy the atmosphere, and settle in before the celebration starts.

Sunbeds and towels are included.

Is there a brunch or next-day event?

We don’t have a formal event planned for the next day—we’ll be resting and enjoying a slow morning. If you’re nearby, feel free to stop by and say hello.

What time does the evening end?

The reception will officially conclude at 12:00 AM.

Where can I find the full wedding schedule?

The wedding schedule is outlined on this website for your reference.

Please note that details are subject to change as we finalize timing and logistics closer to the wedding date.

We’ll share any schedule updates or announcements by email, so please keep an eye on your inbox as the day approaches!

Where is the church ceremony taking place?

The wedding ceremony will be held at the beautiful Basilica Sant’Antonino, one of Sorrento’s most historic and picturesque churches.

Basilica Sant’Antonino

📍 Piazza Sant’Antonino, 1, 80067 Sorrento NA, Italy

It’s located in the heart of Sorrento’s old town — just a 10-minute drive or 20-minute walk from Grand Hotel Riviera. Taxis are available, or guests may join the organized transportation provided.

Where is the wedding reception?

The reception will be held at Grand Hotel Riviera, offering stunning views over the Bay of Naples.

Grand Hotel Riviera

📍 Via Califano, 22, 80067 Sorrento NA, Italy

Taxis will be arranged from the church to the venue. Details will be provided closer to the date.

How do I get to Sorrento from Canada?

Most guests traveling from Canada will fly into Naples International Airport (NAP), the closest major airport to Sorrento. Most routes include a layover in Rome, London, or Frankfurt, depending on the airline.

Once in Naples, you can reach Sorrento by:

  • Taxi: The most convenient and comfortable option, taking about 1–1.5 hours. Expect to pay around €120–€150 (≈ CAD 175–220) one way for 1–3 passengers.
  • Train: Take the Circumvesuviana train from Napoli Centrale to Sorrento (around €5–€6 / CAD 8–10, about 1 hour).
Do Canadians need a travel document to travel to Italy?

No visa is required for short visits. A valid passport is needed. A new travel authorization (ETIAS) may be introduced in 2026—please check closer to your travel date.

Where should I stay in Sorrento?

We’ve put together a list of recommended hotels on this page, based on their convenient location near the church and Sorrento’s town centre. The list includes a range of options to suit different budgets — from 5-star luxury stays to comfortable 4-star, 3-star hotels and bed & breakfast.

What’s the best time to arrive?

We recommend arriving in Sorrento 1–2 days before the wedding to rest, adjust to the time zone, and enjoy the beautiful coastal views before the festivities begin.

If time allows, consider extending your trip to explore the Amalfi Coast, Capri, and Pompeii — all easily accessible from Sorrento.

Our Story

A couple of people that are hugging each other.
A man and a woman taking a selfie.
A man and a woman sitting on a beach with a dog.

Some love stories begin with a spark. Ours began with a quiet hello in the middle of the sea. We met on a cruise ship during Maria's internship, shared two brief weeks, then went our separate ways.

A year later, fate brought us back to the same ship. This time, something clicked. We explored ports together, and things moved fast. Very fast.

We've navigated long-distance, visa hurdles, and the challenge of building a life and business in Canada. The future wasn't always clear, but through it all, we kept choosing each other.
